The Teen Consult Facial is a gentle, educational facial for clients 18 and under, designed specifically for younger skin in a supportive, non-intimidating setting.

It starts with a one-on-one consultation at our Halifax studio, to understand concerns and current routine, followed by a clarifying and hydrating facial focused on cleansing and skin balance. Light extractions may be included if needed.

What age is the Teen Consult Facial for?
This facial is designed for clients 18 and under. Whether your teen is just starting to notice changes in their skin or is already dealing with breakouts, this is a supportive, educational treatment tailored to younger skin. The session is 45 minutes and costs $100.

Does this facial help with acne?
Yes. The treatment includes a clarifying and hydrating component along with light extractions if needed, which can help with existing breakouts and congestion. Just as importantly, I teach your teen how to care for their skin at home with a simple, effective routine so they can stay on top of things between visits.

What will my teen learn during the appointment?
A big part of this session is education. I do a full skin consultation and analysis, walk them through what is happening with their skin and why, and teach them a straightforward daily skincare routine. My goal is to make skincare feel approachable and not overwhelming. I want them to leave feeling confident about taking care of their skin.

Do parents need to be present during the treatment?
For clients under 16, I ask that a parent or guardian be present or nearby. For teens 16 to 18, it is up to you. Some teens feel more comfortable on their own, and some parents like to be in the room to hear the skincare recommendations. Either way is perfectly fine with me.
